The land area is 1.57 acres (6,355 square meters or 68,405 square feet), of which over 30 meters (100 feet) is beachfront.
A small, quiet coastal road runs along the front of the property directly beyond which is the beach.
The property is partially walled and has been prepared for building by removing rocks and trees etc, all utilities are in the process of being connected.
There is also a private access road to the right of the property.
The beach itself is beautiful, wide, pink sand and empty except for a few fishermen in the morning and one or two people who have bought property recently and are enjoying a stroll.
The sea is crystal blue and the beach is orientated so that there are beautiful sunrises and sunsets either end of the beach.
Geographically, this is quite rare and rightly regarded as an auspicious location. Apart from a few recent large properties dotted along the beach road the area is mainly subsistence farm land.
Some 20 minutes' walk in either direction along the deserted beach will take you to small Christian fishing villages, with neat colourful houses and churches.
The beach runs north for miles and is the same coast as the popular tourist areas such as Kovalam in Kerala some 70 km away.
The nearest town is Nagercoil, about 20 minutes drive from the beach. Nagercoil is a thriving and well-kept town of about 225,000 people, over half of which are Christian.
The nearest largest city is Trivandrum which is the capital of Kerala with a population of 753,000. It is located some 70 km north and has the nearest international airport although there are plans to build an airport in Nagercoil.
The area is replete with ancient temples including the magnificent Thanumalayan Temple which is less than 6 Km (4 miles) away.
