Management laws to consider

Here are a list of laws and legislation that you should take into consideration when using WWPC management services.

1. The Furniture and Furnishings Regulations 1988

Fire resistant legislation to protect homes by having a minimum level of fire resistance for domestic upholstered furniture, furnishings and other upholstery.

2. The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998

Legislation benefiting homes by focussing on gas safety, containing legislation listing the duties of landlords.

3. The Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 1994

To reduce the risk of electrical injury, with the tartget of ensuring that electrical equipment is designed for use within certain voltage limits that are deemed as safe.

4. All homes must be fitted with smoke alarms

5. Safety Deposit Protection Scheme

For peace of mind of the tenants, we post our deposits to the Safety Deposit Scheme.

6. Energy Performance Certificates

As of October 2008 all properties are required to have one. They expire after 10 years.
